Sunday worship

Worship at Lebanon

We are fortunate to have two different styles of Sunday worship to choose from each week.

Our 8:00am allows guests and members to reverently worship our Lord and Savior with hymns of praise and a biblical message, including Every Sunday Communion. It also allows people who work on Sundays, or who have to open up restaurants or who have travel or vacation plans to worship within an hour. This liturgy does not meet in January or February due to adverse weather and the number members who winter in other parts of the country.

At 10:15am we worship with a more lively atmosphere for guests and members.  The biblical message is similar to that at 8 am, and is accompanied by newer songs of praise.  Nursery care is lovingly provided by a selected and trained staff for infants and younger children. Musicians vary from organ to piano to guitar.  The Senior Choir and the Handbell Choir can often be found at this worship time.

Godzilla Sunday Nights  begin each Sunday evening at 5:30 p.m.  It is a “Light” supper for everyone, A bell, a prayer and an offering followed by interactive Bible story at 6:00pm.  At 6:30pm to 7pm, choose from two (2) half hour children’s activities, a quiet place for homework, or adult conversation.

Coffee and Fellowship: Fellowship with one another takes a little time, but it is key to building relationships with people. We want to get to know you so we can offer support in times of joy and sorrow and assist by upholding each other in prayer to meet our daily challenges. Please take the opportunity to be a part of the fellowship times listed and any of the other activities of the church because they all offer a chance for getting to know one another.

We have coffee time immediately following the Sunday morning 10:15 am worship and everyone is invited to spend time visiting over a cup of coffee or juice and a cookie.

Library: The Library is open after the morning  worship service and during normal church hours.  CD's of any of the services may be checked out by contacting the evening secretary, Sue Roesler (Tuesday & Wednesday evenings 6:30pm-9pm).
