Relay for Life






The White Lake Relay for Life is May 22nd and 23rd.
Team Lebanon is taking part in the White Lake Relay for Life, but we still need
walkers and support from our congregation. We will be selling footprints and
luminary bags after church services in the fellowship hall each Sunday after the
10:15 worship. Footprints are $1 and luminaries are $10. We also welcome
corporate and individual sponsorships as well. If you can help in any of these
areas, please see Robin Civis, Flo King, or JoAnn and Roger Silk, or contact the
church office at (231) 893-5745.

Tax Information
Michigan Public Acts 256 and 231 of 1994 reward financial contributions to Michigan food banks with a 50% State income tax credit (half your money back!). Limits: up to a $100 credit ( for a $200 gift ) for an individual, $200 (for a $400 gift) for a married couple filing jointly, and for businesses, 5% of the business's tax liability before claiming any other credits, or $5,000, whichever is less. In addition to the State credit, your gift to a Michigan food bank should also qualify for a normal Federal income tax charitable deduction.
