Planning a funeral?

What are the things you want to make sure are included?

Are we using the basic Lutheran Book of Worship outline?

What type of musician do we need?

Will there be hymns sung? Soloists, special music?

Are there particular readings and scriptures?

Will there be a casket, urn, a photograph?

Will we be travelling to a cemetary?

Will there be a meal following? How many people should we prepare for?

Will you assemble picture boards?

Is there someone who will speak about the person's life?

The casket is normally closed before it arrives at the church. Do we need pall bearers?

Will there be military events?

Will there be communion?
